Kubota Tractor Corporation launched several additions to its product portfolio at Equip Expo in Louisville, Ky., including its smallest compact track loader (CTL) model. Available in four models ranging from an open (ROPS) station to a deluxe cab, the new SVL50x is the smallest model in Kubota’s lineup and fits into the smallest cabbed CTL category on the market.

The SVL50x is powered by a 49.6-hp Kubota diesel engine and has a rated operating capacity of 1,176 lb. at 35% of tipping load, 4,900 lb. of bucket breakout force and a hinge pin height of 101.6 in. It measures 48 in. wide, 76.5 in. high and 92.8 in. long and has an operating weight of 5,620 lb.

The ”x” in the model’s nomenclature stands for “extra” due to the additional features included, including:

  • An available one-piece sealed cab;
  • Standard 7-in. color LCD touch panel;
  • Standard rear-view camera;
  • Anti-stall system and auto-idling system;
  • Creep mode;
  • And undercarriage suspension with mid-rollers suspended by torsion axles (Kubota Shockless Ride optional).

The SVL50x will be available at select Kubota dealers beginning in Q1 2025.

Kubota has also added two new EFI models to its Z400 Series with the introduction of the Z452KWi and Z452KWTi. The new models feature a powerful 26-hp Kawasaki FT Series engine with advanced electronic fuel injection that matches engine power to cutting load and ground speed, and a rugged Hydro-Gear Commercial ZT-3600 transmission that the company said is designed to deliver professional-quality performance, reliability and efficiency.

Available in 54- and 60-in. cutting decks, the Z452 is a premium addition with upgraded features such as push-button start, weighted control levers, a check engine light and an advanced hour meter, and semi-pneumatic flat-free front tires.
