Nemetschek Group, a German-based software vendor for architecture, engineering, construction and operations (AEC/O), announced it launched three new flagship products for the design segment.
The products are updates to existing software titles and are named Allplan 2025, Vectorworks 2025 and Archicad 28.
Yves Padrines, CEO of the Nemetschek Group, said, “These products are not only about improving workflows but also about driving innovation and sustainability in the AEC/O industry. Our AI-powered tools and enhanced collaboration features will help professionals design more efficiently and sustainably, making a lasting impact on the future of construction and design.”
The updated Allplan platform is said to help enhance workflows for AEC professionals. “The software’s cutting-edge artificial intelligence features and advanced modelling functionality automate repetitive tasks and streamline complex processes, enabling professionals to focus on creative and high-value work,” said Nemetschek.
The company noted key features include real-time collaboration capabilities, connected structural engineering workflows and advanced detailing tools, which allow users to deliver more productively.
The new Vectorworks platform focused specifically on optimising workflows between design, landscape and the entertainment industries, Nemetschek said. “The new version… highlights a more significant investment in entertainment products like Spotlight, Braceworks, and ConnectCAD to enhance workflow efficiency while maintaining quality, aiming to meet the specific needs of entertainment industry professionals,” it added.
Key enhancements include intuitive visualisation and interactivity using Onscreen View Control for quick model navigation, Two-Point Perspective for creating architectural and photography perspectives, and Object Level Visibility for managing individual objects’ visibility.
The improved Archicad programme includes enhanced collaboration tools, advanced automation and cloud-based teamwork capabilities and integration, Nemetschek said.
The company added the key focus of Archicad 28 is sustainability. “These innovations make it easier for professionals to design and model sustainable buildings while meeting regulatory requirements. Archicad 28 sets a new benchmark for the future of BIM, aligning technology with the architectural community’s goals of innovation, collaboration, and sustainability,” Nemetschek said.
