Established in 1941, the NFDC describes itself as the driving force behind the evolution of the demolition sector, uniting over 130 contractors and 90 industry service providers to raise industry standards, ensure maximum safety on sites and promote peer-to-peer learning and engagement.

This year also marks the 45th anniversary of the NDTG, as it pursues a focus on the development of more people of all ages, with a special focus on ex-offenders, ex-forces personnel and other people returning to work or looking for their next step in life.

The change of premises follows the appointments of new CEO Duncan Rudall, president John Lynch and second vice-president, Simon Barlow, in recent months.

The new office building, located in Hemel Hempstead in the south of England will be able deliver industry events and dedicated training and development seminars.

“The investment in the new NFDC and NDTG headquarters is representative of the ‘new age’ of the Federation, as we continue to play a vital role in shaping industry standards, while ensuring we respond effectively and proactively to new challenges,” said Duncan Rudall.

“The new building is part of our renewed strategy and something the leadership team and I are incredibly proud of. We now look forward to leveraging this space as much as possible and in increasing our membership engagement.”
