Rototilt to set up Netherlands subsidiary

Sweden-based tiltrotator specialist Rototilt is to create a new subsidiary in the Netherlands to meet what it calls growing demand for the product in the Benelux countries.

Rototilt said that existing distributor Eurosteel, which has a 20-year business relationship with the manufacturer, will “continue to take care of the market during the transitional period”, and will supply spare parts and support until the new company is fully set up.

Rototilt also confirmed it is looking to appoint a country manager for the Dutch subsidiary.

“We are increasing our presence in Europe, and specifically see considerable potential in the Benelux countries where there is growing demand for tiltrotators,” says Per Väppling, head of marketing and sales at Rototilt Group, which sees the expansion into Benelux as a step towards building a global business.

“This is a major investment for the future,” said Per Väppling.

“We want to go ahead with our own subsidiary because we believe strongly in the potential of the Benelux region.

“It is also an important part of our commitment to increase our overall presence in Europe.”

Rototilt’s first major event as a separate business in the Netherlands will be at the TKD earthmoving and recycling equipment exhibition in Almere from 8 to 10 June.
