Sinoboom has officially launched its first range of telehandlers at the company’s headquarters in Changsha, China.
Presented during a ceremony at the facility, the range has been engineered with the requirements of the rental industry in mind, and consists of two fixed boom models, the TH40-14 and TH45-18, and one rotating model, the TH50-18R.
They will be released to markets outside China following stringent testing and debugging, said Sinoboom.
All models in the TH range are multi-functional with optional attachments of fork, work platform, clamp, vacuum suction device and gripper.
Key characteristics include:

- Three steering modes: front-wheel, four-wheel and crab.
- Compact dimensions with a fixed minimum width of 2.3m, allowing transportation by container.
-
- Real-time dynamic monitoring to prevent overturning and overloading.
- Auto-shutdown of the engine in the case of engine failure, plus emergency power to ensure safe recovery.
- One of the largest cabs in the market, with ample room for movement of the operator and 360° glass for all-round visibility.
- 7-inch smart screen which enables multi-function integration, and real-time diagnostics and machine status monitoring.
- Full-proportional joystick control for smooth and coordinated movement.
- Centralized button layout for easy operation.
- Automatic engine speed-up function, providing stable power without lagging.
In addition, the range features an automatic attachment identification function, with one-click switch and quick matching of corresponding control programmes. There is a large loading capacity for each working height, said the manufacturer, and each model can travel with a load in 4-wheel drive and at its maximum speed of 35km/h.
The range has been designed to meet the needs of users with, for example, the option of an engine pre-heating device to enhance performance and starting in low temperatures.
Introducing the new range during the launch ceremony, Sinoboom’s Chairman Steven Liu said, “Sinoboom has never stopped its pace of innovative research and development since its establishment in 2008, and always strives to provide customers with diversified solutions for work at height. We seek to provide differentiated products within the market, and focus on creating true value for customers.”
